This past weekend 6 LHS Music Students participated in the Buffalo State University Honor Band and Choir.

Pictured above: Lucas Johnson and Alex Colondres participated in the Honor Band. They were instructed by guest conductor Mr. Zachary Harris, a professor at William Carey University and former music educator at Mississippi Public Schools.
All the students were recommended by their music teachers, Calvin Rice and Erin Holmes and accepted into the Buffalo State Honors High School Chorus and Band. The student worked closely with guest conductors for two days and at the end of the second day performed in a public performance on stage at Buffalo State University.
