High School Biology students had a successful field trip to the Niagara Power Authority.
While there, they got to ride a 4D rollercoaster to learn how electricity travels, made electricity run through their hair through static electricity and gave a mild electrical shock to their friends!
They also learned how the Robert Power Plant balances the need for electricity through an RMPP control with turbines, and successfully simulated six electrical power grids with the following:
