This week, Shawn, the Membership Development Representative from Local 41 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), was at Lackawanna High School to meet with students during their lunch periods to inform them about the career opportunities of being an Electrician for Local 41 IBEW!
He discussed the steps on how to become an apprentice, the requirements of the apprenticeship and what that would look like, as well as informing students of pay, benefits and what it means to be a part of a Union.
