"I am proud to be a part of the Lackawanna School District now for 18 years. The transition from classroom teacher to attendance teacher has been an incredibly rewarding learning experience.
I was excited to step into this new role because it allows me to strengthen relationships with the families in our community. I am eager to raise awareness about the importance of consistent student attendance for academic success, encourage students to attend school every day—even during challenging times, and foster their engagement once they are in the school building."
