On Monday, 60 students from Lackawanna High School toured the University at Buffalo. They were able to explore UB’s state-of-the-art Earthquake Simulation Laboratory (SEESL). UB engineers are leading the way around the world to make structures in earthquake zones safer.
They were then treated to a tour of the campus finishing at UB’s food court where, thanks to the LEEF organization, they were able to have lunch before returning to Lackawanna.
Special thanks to the staff that attended and especially Glen Echeverria our middle school hall monitor and the entire LEEF organization.
