"I am in my thirteenth year as the Band Director at Lackawanna High School. I began playing the trumpet at the age of 10 and graduated from Lackawanna High School in 2003. I then went on to study music education at Ithaca College and the University of Buffalo. In addition to directing the band and teaching music at the high school, I am an active professional musician and can be heard playing with several bands in and around Western New York.
I feel fortunate that I get to come to work and share my love of music with students each and every day. It brings me great joy and pride to watch my students grow as musicians and as human beings throughout their time in band. Getting to teach at my alma mater, and with such a great team of educators in the music department, makes it all the more special!"
