It's time for another student highlight! Meet our next Student of the Month, LHS senior Caleb Castro!
Caleb is a dedicated member of the track team, where he competes in hurdles and shows his passion for all things sports. His teammates and coaches admire his commitment, athleticism and drive to improve every day.
Caleb’s teachers have plenty of praise to share as well, noting: “He is on time, responsible, and respectful to others during class. His work is on point, and he makes insightful comments in class that add to discussions.”
After graduation, Caleb is planning to join the labor union, where he hopes to begin a hands-on career in construction and other skilled labor fields.
When asked about his key to success in the classroom, Caleb kept it simple and smart: “Pay attention in class.”
