Save the date as we celebrate an exciting milestone for our students, schools, and community: the official ribbon-cutting for our new High School Athletic Fields!
Friday, October 9, 2026
6:30 PM
New High School Sports Fields-
Located adjacent to Lackawanna Middle/High School
The ribbon-cutting will take place immediately prior to our Homecoming football game, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this significant investment in our students and community before coming together to cheer on our Steelers.
These new athletic facilities represent much more than new fields. They provide our student-athletes with spaces in which to compete, grow, and represent Lackawanna with pride, while creating a facility that can be enjoyed by our school community for years to come.
Additional information regarding the ribbon-cutting ceremony and event logistics will be shared as we get closer to October 9 and added to our webpage: Link
