"I have always had a deep love for literacy, which led me to earn my master’s degree in Literacy and become a certified Literacy Specialist. With family roots that began in Lackawanna, I am especially grateful to be back in the community, supporting the district and helping guide our schools forward. In my role as an ELA Instructional Coach at Truman Elementary, I work alongside teachers to support student literacy outcomes through collaboration, reflection, and the thoughtful use of data.
Together, we look at student work and assessment information to celebrate growth, identify next steps, and tailor instruction to meet the needs of every learner. My goal is to be a supportive partner in the classroom, helping ensure all students continue to grow as readers and writers."
